FLOW X to sponsor 2020-21 drag race season
Flow X will be sponsoring Anthony Higgs (Tony) for the 2020-21 drag race season in the Street Eliminator class at Santapod raceway. Tony is now a regular mid-to-low 8 second street car, and with the help of Flow X is hoping for continued improvements to get the Capri into the 7-second-bracket in the 1/4 mile. Tony finished off the 2018-19 national championship season 5th overall, and narrowly missed out on a potential 2nd place by the weather at the final Race of the season.
His 1977 MK2 Capri is a full chromoly chassis to 25.1e spec, narrowed and braced 9″ Ford axle with 35 spline strange shafts, strange third member with spool, double adjustable rear coil overs, strange front struts and brakes, engines is a dart big M block with Brodie cnc plus heads, home made intake manifold, rocker covers and exhaust. Twin precision turbos, twin charge coolers. Wheels are weld magnum 14 x 15 rear and 4.5 x 17 fronts, tyres are Mickey Thompson drag radial rears, best time of 8.325 @172 mph.
